50 Cent will be present at a special screening for the movie on Tuesday, Jan. 17 at Empire Leicester Square.

"Get Rich or Die Tryin'" premiered in the United States on Nov. 9, 2005 and has grossed over $30 million dollars at the box office.

The movie centers around Marcus (50 Cent), an inner city drug dealer who leaves the drug game behind for rap a career in rap music.

The movie has drawn controversy in the UK recent weeks, as an industry watchdog group criticized ads for the movie.

The poster featured 50 Cent holding a gun in one hand and a baby in another.

The Advertising Standards authority ruled that the poster was in violation of advertising rules barring violent images.

The movie opens to the public across the UK and Ireland the following day, on Wednesday, Jan. 18.

                                      
                              

Lil' Kim's non-profit Lil' Kim Cares hosted a Christmas party/toy giveaway Dec. 22 in Philadelphia, and event that drew over 1,000 local residents.

The event was broadcast live by 1003 and was co-sponsored by Philadelphia veteran Charlie Mack and Brooklyn boxing champion Zab Judah and his Fight For Life Foundation.

"That is something that we are aggressively working on right now," said Leonard.

Obie Trice recently revealed details about an incident that left the rapper with a bullet – in his head.

Obie Trice was shot last Saturday (Dec. 31, 2005) while driving on the Lodge Freeway in Detroit, Michigan.

He was treated and released, but the rapper the bullet has yet to be removed from the rapper's head.

"They didn't take the bullet out my head," Obie Trice said. "It didn't penetrate my skull or nothing, but they didn't want to go inside my head and mess with the blood vessels."

According to Trice, he was shot with a low caliber weapon, a 9 millimeter handgun.

Shortly, the rapper will return to a doctor seeking an expert opinion on whether or not they should operate to remove the bullet.

"I don't know where it came from, you know what I'm saying? I really don't have a take on that, a lot of people are jealous, and jealous, and envious and hateful."

Michigan State Police have called on witnesses to come forward to help identify the shooter.

                       Toni Braxton's Heart Problem

 Toni Braxton fears she'll have to give up her dreams of having a big family because her heart might not be able to cope with a third pregnancy.
Since giving birth to her second son in 2003, Braxton has been diagnosed with pericarditis - a potentially fatal heart condition - and now she has to take care not to over-stress herself.
And she fears the condition will kill her if she and husband Keri Lewis choose to have another child.
The 37-year-old explains, "I want to try for another, for a girl, but I'm afraid 'cause, you know, I have that heart thingy.
"With that, I'm afraid it may exaggerate it or make it worse so I don't think I'm gonna have any more kids. I'm pretty much finished."

                       Big Bucks For Jackson Show

Sources told the New York Post that Jermaine Jackson has been telling folks he hooked up a $7 million deal for 13 episodes of the family's proposed reality show.
As previously reported, the pilot being shopped to networks is loosely based on the comeback efforts of Tito's sons Tariano (Taj), Taryll and Tito Joe (TJ) – known in the 90s as the singing group 3T.
The TV pilot reportedly includes footage of Michael Jackson on the way to hear the verdict in his molestation trial in June. A source said, "Michael is rocking back and forth pretty fast with a Bible open in his lap. He's saying: 'they tried to do this to Job, now they are trying to do it to me. Why me?'"
The source added that there is no footage of Jackson celebrating his acquittal of child molestation. The singer reportedly told the family that he wanted to be alone and escaped into a guest house on his Neverland Ranch before moving to the Gulf state of Bahrain.
Music producer Cory Rooney is said to be producing the reality show, which will not include footage of Michael's sister Janet nor brother Randy, as both have refused to participate.

                        Faith Says, "Just Say No"

Songstress Faith Evans is cautioning dieting women to stay away from pills as a quick fix to drop the pounds, because medication left her restless and desperate to sleep.
The singer used the pills when she hastily tried to lose weight for the release of her first album 'Faith' in 1995, but, though she slimmed down, she was miserable.
She says, "I lost about 35 pounds but if I look at pictures... I wouldn't show my arms; I wasn't in any kind of shape.
"I didn't eat for like two months; just water and a little powder drink but I didn't know any other way.
"It gave you energy and you can't sleep half the time until you decide, 'I'm not gonna take it. I would never endorse that to be the way for someone to just jump into a healthy weight loss."
Evans insists she's since found better ways of losing weight and keeping herself trim. She adds, "I tried it the wrong way and then a few years later I did it the right way."

                         Ashanti Lets It All Hang Out

R&B singer Ashanti has jumped on the bootylicious bandwagon for Mudd's Delicious Curves denim collection.
"It's a wonderful idea to let girls know that women's curves are beautiful," she said during the line's launch at Macy's flagship store in New York. "Don't be ashamed to show them."
In addition to endorsing the Mudd collection, the singer is pushing her fragrance, Precious Jewel, People magazine reported.
With shooting now wrapped on her big screen romantic comedy "John Tucker Must Die," Ashanti is getting ready to go back into the studio to record the follow-up to her platinum-selling "Concrete Rose," People said.
